Reverse Text, Words or Line Order

The tool has three modes: reverse characters (the whole string end to start), reverse words (word order flips while each word stays intact) and reverse lines (the last line comes first). Character reversal is useful for testing right-to-left behavior and inspecting fonts, and because it splits on Unicode code points, Persian letters and emoji move correctly. The result lands in the output box and your original text is left untouched.

This tool runs entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server.

Frequently asked questions

Does character reversal work with Persian?

Yes. It splits on Unicode code points, so the letter order is preserved. How it looks finally depends on the text direction of the app you paste it into.

What is the difference between word and character mode?

Word mode only flips the order of words (“hello world” becomes “world hello”); character mode reverses the letters themselves.

What is it good for?

Testing RTL behavior and fonts, writing playful messages and simulating odd input. It is not encryption and not a way to hide data.
