Persian Toolkit: Jalali Date, Number Words & Rial
This page is for anyone who deals with Persian dates and numbers daily and would rather not hop between tools. The date tab turns a Gregorian date into Jalali, a Unix timestamp and a weekday at the same time, and the reverse direction works too: give a Jalali year, month and day and get the Gregorian date. Below it, a live countdown runs to the selected date. The number tab writes amounts out in Persian words for checks and contracts, and converts between rial and toman. Everything runs locally with no data sent anywhere.
This tool runs entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server.
How to use it
- 1
Open the date tab and enter a Gregorian or Jalali date; both sides update together.
- 2
For amounts, switch to the number tab and type the value in Persian or Latin digits.
- 3
Copy the written form or converted amount into your document.
Frequently asked questions
Why bundle these tools on one page?
Fewer switches and fewer mistakes. Seeing the date and the amount together lets you check both at once, which suits writing contracts and filling forms.
Is the rial–toman conversion different from plain arithmetic?
No, one toman is ten rial. Large amounts use exact integer math so no zeros get lost in rounding.
Is anything I enter stored?
No. Dates, numbers and amounts are processed inside the browser tab and no request is sent to a server.
