Frequently asked questions

Is my code sent to a server?

No. Writing and running happen entirely in your browser. A copy is stored only if you press Share yourself, and then it is encrypted.

Which languages actually run?

HTML, CSS and JavaScript run in the live preview. Other languages get syntax highlighting and line numbers, but no server-side execution.

Can I save the result?

Yes. Copy the source, or open the preview in a new tab and save the page with Ctrl+S.
