Split & Extract Pages from a PDF Online

When you only need a few pages out of a PDF, there is no reason to send the whole file. This tool takes page numbers as ranges and lists, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10, and writes just those pages into a new document. Despite the name it does not cut the file into pieces; it produces one file with the pages you chose, which is ideal for sending a single chapter, removing blank pages or pulling out a signed form. The result is saved as extracted.pdf, numbering starts at 1, and numbers outside the document are ignored.

This tool runs entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server.

How to use it

  1. 1

  2. 2

Write the pages you want: ranges with a hyphen, separated by commas, like 1-3, 5.

  3. 3

Press extract and extracted.pdf downloads with exactly those pages.

Frequently asked questions

Can it split a file into several files?

This version writes one output file. Run it again with a different range for each part; there is no limit on how many times you run it.

Is page order preserved?

Pages come out in ascending order with duplicates removed, regardless of the order you typed them in.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Opening the PDF, copying pages and writing the new file all happen in the browser; no copy of your document is made on a server.
