Calculate Bank Deposit Profit
Short-term bank deposits in Iran pay simple interest, not compound: each month’s profit is calculated on the original principal and is not added back to earn more next month. This tool models that exactly: principal × annual rate ÷ 12 for one month, multiplied by the number of months. It offers two modes, monthly profit payouts, where the money lands in your account each month, and a single payout at maturity for the whole period. You get three figures: the amount per payout, the number of payouts and the total profit. If your bank compounds instead, the real figure will be slightly higher.
This tool runs entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between simple and compound interest?
Simple interest is calculated on the original amount every month. Compound interest adds the profit to the principal so it earns again next month; the gap grows with the term.
Do Iranian banks compound?
Short-term deposits usually pay simple monthly profit. If your bank capitalizes the profit, the real figure will be slightly higher than this tool shows.
Is tax or a fee included?
No. This is gross profit. Tax on deposit profit and any bank charges are calculated and deducted separately.
