Convert Numbers to Persian Words
Writing an amount in words is mandatory on checks, contracts and financial documents, and that is exactly where typing mistakes happen. This tool reads the number and produces its written-out Persian form: 1234567 becomes «یک میلیون و دویست و سی و چهار هزار و پانصد و شصت و هفت». Persian and Arabic digits are both accepted, thousands separators (either comma or a space) are ignored, the fractional part is read with «ممیز» and negative numbers start with «منفی». The conversion runs in the browser and nothing is sent anywhere; the result has a copy button so it can go straight into your document.
This tool runs entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server.

Frequently asked questions
How is the decimal part read?
With the word «ممیز» and digit by digit: 12.5 becomes «دوازده ممیز پنج». Trailing zeros are dropped so it reads naturally.
Does it add a currency for check amounts?
The tool writes the number only. For a check, append the unit yourself, for example «یک میلیون و دویست هزار ریال».
What is the largest number it handles?
Up to the range of the named scales, which reaches around 10^63. Anything larger comes back empty.
