Encrypted notes with a share link

Write your text; it is encrypted in your browser before saving. The server holds only the encrypted copy, never your text. If a note is reported, that note is opened for an abuse review.

Frequently asked

Can the server read my note?

No. The text is encrypted in your browser and the server stores only the encrypted copy. If a note is reported, that note is opened for review.

What if I lose the link?

If you lose the link you cannot recover the text yourself; there is no other way to open the note. For important notes, keep a copy of the text somewhere else too.

How long does a note live?

A guest note 1 day, an unverified account up to 3 days, a verified email 7 or 30 days or no expiry. A burn-after-reading note lives at most 7 days.
